Talk on influence I believe I'm best suited to discuss organizational influences on project management. My two careers as a professional senior military officer and now as a financial advisor have involved a great deal of what we all must overcome: that which we have little control over as we plan, organize, and execute our mission - completion of goal, task, or project. I went from a very structured organization with personnel administration and government standard challenges to a highly regulated industry with its own level of similar challenges. Regardless of the enterprise environmental factors, it is imperative that we understand that they do exist and how to best utilize them to accomplish our goals. I am a business guy and not an engineer by trade. I have a liberal arts MA from the Naval War College and earned a BS in business and an MBA. That stated, I spent 25 years in an engineer-centered organization - the U.S. Navy. I do not plan on brining diagrams and slides. I would rather speak using analogies and past experiences to explain my thoughts on environment factors. Todd Lacy Financial Advisor | Edward Jones Investments
