PMI Savannah is sponsoring a 2024 Panel event open to all that are interested. The event will be moderated by Henrick de Gyor - see Bio below. This is a fantastic event for college students and others looking to expand their knowledge in the practical applications of Business Management and Project Management. Never do you manage a business without projects. Our Panel will consist of industry experts that will be answering questions on what, how and why they have used particular strategies and tools to unlock career opportunities.

Michael Martha
Michael is a project and program manager at Daniel Defense, a small arms manufacturer located near Savannah, GA. Michael is an accredited “Project
Management Professional” through the Project Management Institute. His past educational experiences include a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering through Florida State University, a Master’s of Science in Systems Engineering through the George Washington University, and a level III certification in Systems, Planning, Research, Development, and Engineering through the Defense Acquisition University. Michael is part of the US Department of Defense’s Acquisition Corps.
Michael’s professional experiences span both public and private sector projects from establishing reporting processes at the Department of Homeland Security’s Headquarters to managing powertrain sustainment projects in the consumer powersports industry. His most impactful past endeavors were in support of the US Marine Corps as a federal civilian vehicle and weapons systems engineer where he supported armor, anti-armor, ground mobility, and route clearance projects.
At Daniel Defense Michael is the project manager for the development and upcoming launch of the most significant new product in the company’s history since its first rifle was introduced to the market. His other responsibilities include new product planning, resource management, assisting product development teams responsible for introducing new products for release as well as major updates to existing products, product cost estimation, developing and implementing continuous improvement processes.

Carole Mendoza
Carole Mendoza is a transformational leadership coach offering tailored solutions for entrepreneurs and small businesses. With a focus on executive coaching, customized training and team-building opportunities, she helps leaders achieve their goals and define their purpose.
Carole has more than 25 years of documented accomplishments in both sales and education. She founded her business in 2019 and published the book “All-in Paragon: Living a Life by God’s Design” in 2021. She is currently writing her 2nd book, “Beyond Leadership” for emerging leaders. It is scheduled to launch in late 2024.
Carole holds a master’s degree in education, has completed coursework for a doctoral degree in educational leadership, and is a proud member of the John Maxwell Leadership Certified Team. As a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, Carole serves her clients from her home in Pooler, GA.
Carole also co-hosts Motivation Mondays on WSAV TV with News Anchor Tina Tyus-Shaw, providing encouragement and tips to navigate life’s challenges.

Doug Winters, PMP, SSBB
is a Project Management Professional® certified by the Project Management Institute® (PMI) and a Six Sigma Black Belt certified by Southern Polytechnic State University. He attended the Universidad de Philosophia e Letras of Valencia in Spain and attained the Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A) in Finance from the Eugene W. Stetson School of Business and Economics. Throughout his career, he has successfully completed important projects with domestic and international companies, including The Weather Channel, United States Government, Public Hospitals, Disney, The International Olympic Committee, Public Schools, Morris Communications, Gulfstream, Luxor Hotel, and Kodak. For the past 17 years, he has provided PMP Certification training at several Universities. Jackie is the Principal Managing Partner of Pulley Consulting Partners, LLC. She heads this growing organization which empowers college and early career leaders through training and coaching services. Previously she spent more than 35 years leading software development teams, business process improvement teams and cross-functional Global service delivery project teams.
Jackie received her B.S. Degree in Computer Information Sciences from the University of Florida (Gainesville, FL). She is a PMI certified Project Management Professional and ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt. Her career has focused on delivering project and service management capabilities across multiple industries including telecommunications, transportation, energy, e-commerce, government and financial sectors. She spent several years consulting with clients developing her specialties in Project Management Methodology, CRM/Customer Care Software Implementation, IT Implementation Project Consulting, Business Analysis, Technical Analysis, Project Planning and Systems Design, Software Development Team Leadership and IT Service Delivery. Her work included 4 plus years as a Lean Process Improvement Coach for a major digital bank, credit card and payments services company coaching leaders in Agile/Lean Business Process Improvement and Operational Excellence.
Jackie enjoys volunteering as a mentor within her local church, the UF Beyond120 Mentoring Program and the UF NSBE Trailblazers student organization. She has served as a volunteer with the Project Management Institute (PMI) Savannah, Chicagoland and Atlanta Chapters and is a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
