Join us this month for an in-depth look at tasting beer! Brewmaster John Pinkerton provides a guided tour of critical analysis methods. You'll learn how to get the most from every beer you taste, using your senses and plenty of samples as a guide. Train your palate alongside Moon River's brewers and learn firsthand how to expand your descriptive vocabulary, including common flaws and how they appear.

Ever wanted to learn more about beer? Meet in an intimate setting and learn from a real live brewer and get hands on experience tasting beer! Moon River introduces a monthly series focused on beer education for any knowledge level, from beginner to intermediate and above. Learn about topics ranging from the science behind brewing to the ingredients in beer, all the way to barrel aging! Each month we will focus on one aspect of beer and explore it in depth, including plenty of samples. Ask questions and discuss brewing with one or more of our resident beer experts! Makes a great gift for anyone interested in analyzing, brewing, or even just enjoying and appreciating craft beer!

6:30-9pm, 3rd Wednesday each month, in the Moon River Beer Cellar.

Each class includes at least 4x 4oz beer samples which may include rare, unreleased or cellar collection beers.

Lesson approximately 1-1.5 hours, followed by discussion/Q+A/Meet+Greet session
