Hello, my name is Deborah Gordon,
As the new VP of Programs and new member of PMI Savannah, I would like to introduce myself to the chapter members and am looking forward to meeting all of you.
Being new to the Savannah area and new to PMI, I have volunteer experience in planning business focused speaker/training/networking events for the past number of years.
My vision is to form a team, composed of our chapter members, to brainstorm and plan our chapter’s next events. Believing in a team approach, it will be stronger and better to provide valued events to you our stakeholders.
And don’t forget that you can receive PDUs for volunteering toward your 60 required PDUs for working on an PMI events team/committee.
Please reach out to be a member of our team. I look forward to hearing from you.
Deborah Gordon, P.E., PMP
Through local PMI chapters, members meet their peers, make new contacts, network, build knowledge, share solutions and ideas, and enjoy activities and events. Volunteer positions with our local chapter range from formal positions (such as president, secretary, vice president of membership, vice president of professional development, vice president of finance and volunteer coordinator) to less formal positions assisting with various events, chapter programs and committees.
These positions offer an exceptional opportunity to build your leadership skills.
The PMI page for PDUs info is at: https://www.pmi.org/certifications/maintain/earn-pdus/contribute
The members of the PMI Savannah Chapter are excited to have all of you join us in Savannah!
